Explore the Yukon and Alaska by land and water. This is the complete northern experience.
The Gold Rush Tour combines one of our favourite wilderness canoe trips with some of our favourite road-based adventures for a complete northern experience. You'll begin with nine days travelling by canoe down the Teslin and Yukon rivers – an ideal trip for first-time paddlers to experience two of Yukon's great, wild rivers. In the village of Carmacks, we'll trade our canoes for a van and head up the highway for another ten days packed with highlights, including hiking in high subarctic mountains, whitewater rafting on a world-class river, panning for gold, and living it up in the preserved gold rush towns of Dawson City and Skagway.
Our route takes a loop through an incredible variety of northern landscapes, from rolling tundra to calving glaciers to coastal Alaskan rainforest. We will be camping most of the time, either along wild stretches of river or scenic organized campsites near the highway.
This is the ultimate northern road trip. Come and join us!

This tour was perfect! I can’t imagine a better way to visit "the last frontier." Our driver–guide was a joy to be with and full of interesting and funny stories. The itinerary and the included excursions were very well done; the majority of the optional excursions that I participated in were well worth the additional money spent, especially the Kenai Fjords tour.
Such a great Yukon adventure we went on!!! The guides Benny, Simon and Jonas were AWESOME!!! Taking great care of us, with safety and fun the top priorities. Highly recommended, and can’t wait to go again – Thanks!
Yukon and Alaska tour with Ruby Range Adventure was one of my best experiences ever. Professional organization, friendly and willing tour guide who was knowledgeable about the history of the places and cities we visited. The trip filled all of my expectations plus we were a good group having fun and a good time on the way. If I went to Alaska and the Yukon again, I would choose Ruby Range Advanture again, for sure. I can really recommend this company.
