The Yukon’s big. You could fit New York State into it three times and still have room left over for Vermont, New Hampshire and two or three of those other little states. So if you want to see a good part of it, you’ve got some planning to do – and a lot of driving.
Or, leave that all up to an experienced Yukon Wild van tour operator, and focus on the experience itself. Choose a route with the right mix of destinations, scenery, hotel or camping options to suit your interests and abilities. These include the Alaska Highway skirting Kluane National Park; the Dempster Highway crossing the Arctic Circle; the remote Robert Campbell Highway, where seeing moose is more likely than other vehicles; and the Klondike Highway, which takes you to the heart of the '98 Gold Rush.
We’ll hit the brakes on a regular basis to enjoy the stunning scenery and activities like hiking, paddling, biking and flightseeing, or add-on side trips to Skagway, Anchorage and Denali National Park.
