Cathers Wilderness Adventures

Come to where you heart has always been!  Cathers Wilderness Adventures is a family business, run by the Cathers family.  Most of our trips begin at or are based from our wilderness home and cabins on the east side of Lake Laberge, which are accessible by boat and canoe in summer or by dog team and snow machine in winter.  This has been our year-round home since 1983.  We have been in the business of guiding wilderness trips since 1975.  Over the years, we have traveled thousands of miles in the Yukon wilderness by foot, dog sled, canoe, boat, and snow mobile; camping, guiding, sled dog racing, and hauling supplies to our home.  We don’t just visit the wilderness; we live here.  It is our goal to help you feel like you are “coming home to the wilderness”, too.

Please check out our guided trips: dog sledding, hiking and backpacking with pack dogs, canoeing, and boating.  Your trip may be a camping trip or based from our home cabins.  Extended stays are also possible.  Trips are personally guided by our family members.
